🌿We started our first preschool classes underneath the tallest trees in Aberdeen in Summer 2026🌿
Our Root:Ed Outdoor Learning CIC preschool sessions give young children the freedom to explore, play, get messy and discover within the beautiful grounds of the James Hutton Institute in Aberdeen.
Designed for children aged 18 months–5 years and their grown-ups, sessions are built around seasonal changes, sensory exploration, stories, songs, nature play and child-led discovery.
It's a chance to slow down, get outside and enjoy learning together — while building confidence, curiosity and a connection with nature.
